Role Description

This full-time Graduate Student role involves engaging in advanced academic study, attending lectures and seminars, and completing assigned coursework and research projects. The role is hybrid, with the primary location in Leeds and flexibility for some work from home, depending on course requirements and supervisory arrangements. Day-to-day activities include:

The Graduate Student is expected to manage deadlines, maintain regular communication with supervisors, and take part in relevant academic events and networks.

Qualifications

  • Completed undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, with strong academic performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct independent study and research, including critical reading, analysis, and academic writing.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle full-time study, multiple deadlines, and hybrid working arrangements.
  • Effective communication skills, including clear written and verbal expression, and the ability to collaborate with peers and staff.
  • Comfort with digital tools and online learning platforms to support remote and on-campus study.
  • Motivation to contribute to an inclusive academic community and engage with diverse perspectives.
