About The Role
As Supply and Inventory Planner you will consolidate and analyse data, use reporting tools to monitor asset and inventory requirements and provide actionable insights to optimise inventory and asset holdings, working capital, and overall operating plans. You'll be backed by comprehensive training and ongoing guidance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop, track and adjust supply plans for LPG and industrial cylinders, valves and vessels from local and overseas suppliers to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Collaborate with sales, demand planning, and branch teams to align forecasts, using historical data and market insights to support growth and continuous improvement.
- Analyse branch-level asset and inventory data to identify trends, optimize stock levels, reduce working capital and improve operational efficiency.
- Set and maintain minimum inventory holdings across all sites, including cylinders, valves, stillages, and vessels, ensuring effective replenishment processes.
- Monitor inventory carrying costs and implement strategies to reduce them, including rationalizing product ranges and underutilized assets.
- Manage reorder points, order quantities, and replenishment schedules in collaboration with procurement and operations to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Maintain detailed records of cylinder and asset transactions, ensuring compliance with internal processes and facilitating cross-functional decision-making.

Skills and Experiences:
Skills & Experience:
- Supply Chain or Asset Management qualifications and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Technical proficiency or/ exposure with ERP systems and reporting tools that support data modelling (e.g., Pronto, TM1, Power BI).
- Ability to model and interpret data to support supply planning decisions.
- Experience in building and reviewing forecasts.
- Ability to translate data modelling outputs into actionable supply plans that optimize inventory and working capital.
- Proficient in Excel, including advanced functions and VBA.
- Ability to demonstrate both a commercial and customer-centric approach to decision making.
- Advanced analytic capability and high attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and engage with all levels across the business.
