About The Role
We are seeking a talented and passionate Engineering Graduate to join our expanding Systems Engineer function. In this role, you will report to one of our Systems Engineering Team Leads and will play a key part within all Systems Engineering activities, working as part of a team of cross-functional engineers.

The role will involve working in a highly technical environment, supporting the team as well as working autonomously. You will be provided with in-house and on-the-job training & development.
Responsibilities
- Design and development of avionics systems for unmanned air systems, including flight control, navigation, communication, electrical, payload, aircraft management, and command & control (C2) systems.
- Aid in the integration of systems, including other air vehicle systems such as power plant and fuel systems.
- Support wider aircraft systems design, such as cabling and loom/wire harness design.
- Assessment of system and subsystem failures and impacts on other systems.
- Support and enable flight test development activities.
- Maintain test facilities.
- In addition to supporting the existing team, the Graduate Systems Engineer will be expected to grow their experience and progress.
- Perform other related duties as required.

- Report all hazards and incidents that the individual is party to, or observes, in the correct manner.
- When required or directed, participate in any health and safety training.
Qualifications
About You
- An upper second-class (2:1) or above BSc or Master Honours degree in an Engineering or Science subject.
Essential Skills And Experience
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Competent in practical integration tasks either using software or hardware-based rigs.
- Report writing and information dissemination/presentation.

Desirable
- Design or systems engineering experience in UAS and associated systems.
- Experience with integration and/or use of Ardupilot based flight control systems.
- Experience in flying, or flight test, of UAS or RPAS.
- Familiarity with common engineering tools, for example, DOORS, Solidworks, Python, MATLAB, or equivalents.
- Demonstrable knowledge of systems engineering, preferably in aerospace.
Personal Attributes
- Must be a British Citizen or must have an existing right to work in the UK.
- Ability to live near and work in Salisbury, Wiltshire, UK.
- UK driving licence and ability to commit to occasional national travel.
- Ability to hold Security Clearance – 5 years residence in the UK.
