SEND Teaching Assistant – Pimlico, Westminster – September 2026

Are you a SEND Teaching Assistant looking to gain meaningful school-based experience in Pimlico, Westminster?

SEND Teaching Assistant | The Role

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND
  • Support pupils with Autism, speech and language needs, learning needs, or EHCP targets
  • Work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and pastoral staff
  • Help pupils access learning, routines, and social development
  • Build confidence, independence, and positive engagement in school

SEND Teaching Assistant | Candidate Requirements

  • 2:1 or above in Psychology, Education, English, Science, or a related degree preferred
  • Previous experience with children or young people is desirable
  • Calm, patient, and consistent approach
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Able to commit for the full academic year
