Graduate Teaching Assistant - What the Role Involves
- Supporting teaching and learning across KS3 and KS4 in a range of subjects
- Delivering small-group interventions to boost attainment and confidence
- Supporting pupils with SEN (including ASD, ADHD and SEMH) through structured guidance
- Assisting teachers with classroom management, behaviour routines and lesson preparation
- Helping track pupil progress and contributing to a positive, safe and ambitious learning environment
Graduate Teaching Assistant - What the School is Looking For
The school is seeking a proactive, committed and compassionate Graduate Teaching Assistant with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in education. You will ideally hold a 2:1 or First-Class degree from a top 30 UK university. Any previous child-centred experience is valuable. A willingness to learn, take initiative and support pupils of all backgrounds is essential.

Graduate Teaching Assistant - Salary and Contract Info
- Weekly pay: £450 - £530 per week - term-time only
- Full-time, long-term contract September - July
- Potential to return in September or progress into future teacher training
- Excellent experience for those pursuing careers in education, SEN, psychology or teaching
