Graduate Teaching Assistant - What the Role Involves

  • Supporting teaching and learning across KS3 and KS4 in a range of subjects
  • Delivering small-group interventions to boost attainment and confidence
  • Supporting pupils with SEN (including ASD, ADHD and SEMH) through structured guidance
  • Assisting teachers with classroom management, behaviour routines and lesson preparation
  • Helping track pupil progress and contributing to a positive, safe and ambitious learning environment

Graduate Teaching Assistant - What the School is Looking For

The school is seeking a proactive, committed and compassionate Graduate Teaching Assistant with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in education. You will ideally hold a 2:1 or First-Class degree from a top 30 UK university. Any previous child-centred experience is valuable. A willingness to learn, take initiative and support pupils of all backgrounds is essential.
