Graduate Teaching Assistant – Outstanding Secondary School
Croydon, CR0 | September 2026 Start
£95–£115 per day | Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00am–3:30pm

A highly regarded secondary school in the heart of Croydon (CR0) is seeking an ambitious Graduate Teaching Assistant to join its successful support team. The Role
- Supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4 within lessons
- Delivering targeted intervention sessions in literacy and numeracy
- Providing one-to-one support for pupils who require additional guidance
- Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
- Encouraging student engagement, confidence and academic progress
- Working closely with experienced teachers and senior leaders
The Ideal Graduate
- Holds a degree in any subject
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, proactive and enthusiastic attitude
- Passionate about supporting young people's development
- Previous tutoring, mentoring, coaching or youth work experience is advantageous but not essential
- Interested in pursuing teacher training in the future
