As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will become an integral part of the school's teaching and learning provision. Working closely with experienced teachers and department leaders, you will provide classroom support, deliver targeted interventions, mentor individual students, and contribute to raising attainment across the school.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5
  • Delivering one-to-one and small-group academic interventions
  • Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom delivery
  • Supporting pupils preparing for GCSE and A-Level examinations
  • Encouraging student engagement, confidence, and independent learning
  • Contributing to enrichment activities and wider school life

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum 2:1 degree from a respected university
  • Strong academic achievements throughout education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine interest in teaching and education
  • The commitment to support students for a full academic year
