Graduate Teaching Assistant – Primary School
Location: Liverpool, L8
Salary: £90–£105 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-Time | Term Time Only
Start Date: September 2026

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for education and making a difference in children's lives? We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming and inclusive primary school in the L8 area of Liverpool.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering a future career in teaching, educational psychology, or child development, providing invaluable classroom experience within a supportive and nurturing environment.
The Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons across the primary age range.
- Work with pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small intervention groups.
- Encourage pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
- Assist in creating a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
- Support children with varying learning needs to achieve their full potential.
- Help prepare classroom resources and contribute to the wider school community.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds a degree (2:1 or above) in any subject.
- Has a genuine passion for working with children.
- Is patient, enthusiastic, and adaptable.
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Works well as part of a team and uses initiative when required.
- Has experience working with young people (desirable but not essential).
