Responsibilities
As a secondary school teaching assistant, you will:
- Support students of all abilities across years 7–11, contributing to lessons and ensuring inclusive learning experiences.
- Work closely with experienced teachers, observing diverse teaching styles and strategies.
- Develop teamwork and organisational skills in a collaborative school environment.
The role is full-time (Monday–Friday) and kicks off straight after the summer break, meaning you’ll be fully involved from the start.
Requirements
We’re looking for graduates who:
- Have secured paid or voluntary experience with young people (e.g. tutoring, sports coaching, voluntary teaching roles, overseas mentoring work—or related college/extracurricular experience).
- Show enthusiasm for education and a commitment to growing professionally in this field.
- Are eager to learn directly from experienced educators before commencing formal teacher training.
