Graduate Teaching Assistant / Teaching Fellow Law

Job title: Graduate Teaching Assistant / Teaching Fellow (Law – Core)

Department: Law

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract

Grade: 6

Salary: Contact hours are paid at a multiplier of 2.5 basic hours for group teaching to include preparation time spent in the classroom delivering teaching, class preparation; course administration; ('the multiplier') totalling £56.96/ £67.49 (basic hourly rate starts from £23.46 per hour, inclusive of London Allowance). Marking is paid at the basic hourly rate using plain time hours (from £23.46) and is part of the teaching contract.

Location: Bloomsbury, London

Hours: Hourly paid – dependent on hours worked

About The Role

SOAS School of Law is creating a pool of experienced teachers who are interested in joining us as and when a suitable teaching opportunity becomes available/arises. We are looking for teachers with strong communication skills who are confident in teaching native and non-native English speakers from around the globe.

We are collecting speculative applications for teachers who can provide teaching online or on campus for non-degree, daytime and/or evening, language courses.
