Are you a recent RTPI-accredited graduate looking to kick-start your career in Town Planning with a highly respected multidisciplinary consultancy?
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be representing an established and growing property consultancy that is looking to appoint a Graduate Town Planner to join its successful Northampton team. The Opportunity
- You'll become part of a collaborative planning team working alongside experienced planners, surveyors, architects and other property professionals.
- The role offers exposure to a broad mix of projects across the residential, commercial and rural sectors, giving you the chance to develop a well-rounded planning career from day one.

Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications.
- Supporting senior planners on a diverse range of planning projects.
- Undertaking planning policy research and site appraisals.
- Preparing planning statements and supporting reports.
- Liaising with local planning authorities, clients and external consultants.
- Attending client meetings and site visits.
- Assisting with planning appeals and wider development projects.
About You
- RTPI-accredited degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and research abilities.
- A genuine passion for planning and the built environment.
- Organised, proactive and eager to learn.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
