An established and highly regarded multidisciplinary consultancy is looking to recruit a Graduate Town Planner to join its growing team in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment, working on a broad range of projects across the UK.

The Role

You will join a collaborative planning team, supporting on a variety of projects including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. The role offers exposure to all aspects of the planning process, with responsibilities including:

  • Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals
  • Undertaking site appraisals and planning policy research
  • Supporting the preparation of planning statements and technical reports
  • Liaising with clients, local authorities, and external consultants
  • Monitoring changes in planning policy and relevant legislation

About You

  • A degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline
  • A genuine interest in pursuing a career in planning and working towards MRTPI accreditation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational ability with strong attention to detail
  • A proactive and positive approach to learning and development
  • A full UK driving licence is beneficial but not essential
