We are a fast-growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in the heart of Manchester, delivering IT solutions and managed services to businesses across the UK. We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Graduate Trainee Customer Success & Account Manager to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking to build a long-term career in technology, customer success, and account management.
The Role
As a Graduate Trainee Customer Success & Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with a portfolio of up to 500 business customers. Working closely with our technical and customer success teams, you will ensure clients receive outstanding service while identifying opportunities to help them maximise the value of their IT investment.
You will become knowledgeable across the Microsoft technology stack and a range of complementary products and services. Full training will be provided, and you will be expected to work towards Microsoft professional certifications, with all training and examination costs fully funded by the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of up to 500 business customers.
- Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Conduct regular customer success reviews and account check-ins.
- Help customers maximise the value of their Microsoft solutions and managed services.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Microsoft licences, cloud services, cyber security solutions, and complementary products.
- Prepare quotations and proposals.
- Liaise with technical consultants to deliver the best solutions for customers.
- Maintain accurate customer records within the CRM system.
- Monitor customer satisfaction, proactively resolve issues, and reduce customer churn.
- Keep up to date with Microsoft technologies, licensing, and industry developments.
- Meet agreed customer retention, renewal, customer satisfaction, and sales targets.

What We're Looking For
Essential
- A degree in Business, IT, Computing, Marketing, or another relevant discipline.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Commercial awareness and an interest in technology.
- A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence communicating with business owners and decision-makers.
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable
- Previous customer service, sales, or account management experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, or cloud technologies.
- Understanding of the Managed Services (MSP) industry.
