We’re excited to launch our 2026 Graduate Trainee Operational Management Programme – a two-year development programme designed to help you build the skills, experience, and confidence you need for a successful career with SGN.
We’re looking for curious, motivated graduates from all backgrounds who are eager to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact from day one.
This programme will give you a broad, hands-on understanding of Operations at SGN and the vital role we play in delivering gas safely and reliably to millions of customers every day. You’ll discover how our business operates, why safety sits at the heart of everything we do, and how our teams work together to deliver essential services across the UK.
The Role
You’ll be based within our Operations team, gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of projects and activities. From supporting day-to-day operations to helping improve performance and efficiency, you’ll be involved in meaningful, business-critical work from the very start.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
