This is a unique opportunity to step into a real actuarial role from day one—working alongside underwriters, actuaries, and data specialists who shape pricing decisions across multiple lines of business.
You’ll gain exposure to Lloyd’s markets, portfolio analysis, and global actuarial projects.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with underwriters and other members of the Actuarial pricing team to price risks for multiple lines of business.
- Participate in portfolio monitoring and analyses to help assess the profitability of business that has already been written.
- Support and drive efficiency within the data manipulation process to help streamline the pricing workflow within the team.
- Assist with pricing during busy periods.
- Contribute to global actuarial projects as required, to drive gains across the whole SCOR global enterprise.
- Support CAT modelling and reporting.
Experience
Required Experience & Competencies
The ideal candidate will have gained some actuarial work experience in insurance/reinsurance or mathematical modelling.

Experience of participation in projects and teams.
Personal Competences
- Familiarity with standard Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing.
- Collaborative team-player spirit with experience of project participation.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Self-starter/motivator and creative.
- Interest in data science with preference given to programming capability and experience of Python, SQL or VBA.
Required Education
- University degree in mathematics, economics, or related field or equivalent.
- Willingness to attain a professional actuarial designation.
