The Opportunity

Propose groundbreaking solutions, work on industry transformations, and champion multi-disciplinary innovation in one of the UK & Ireland’s leading Tunnelling and Ground Engineering consultancies.

The Role

A key project contributor in Jacobs’ Tunnelling team, reporting to a team lead within the Tunnels discipline. This role spans a diverse range of small to large-scale projects, from pipejacking to complex underground cavern designs. Work will touch upon both geotechnical and structural engineering, using methodologies from empirical analysis to 3D finite element (FE) models.

Key Tasks & Duties

  • Utilise emerging technology to enhance quality, efficiency, and outcomes.
  • Produce designs, technical reports, and drawings.
  • Engage in collaborative problem-solving, training, and mentorship.
  • Actively develop your career, building skills in leadership and project execution.
