About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Website Programmer to manage our e-commerce websites. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems independently, learning new technologies, and taking initiative.
You will:
- Maintain, test, and update websites, applications, and software solutions across a range of projects.
- Work in a hands-on, practical role where learning comes through experience, research, and self-development.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain websites and software applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Debug and troubleshoot technical issues
- Collaborate with designers and developers on various projects
- Test applications to ensure functionality and performance
- Research solutions and learn new technologies independently
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and projects
Selection Process
You must live near Canterbury in East Kent, UK. This is an office-based role, so your application must:
- Clearly demonstrate that you understand the requirement.

Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of:
- Programming languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, or PHP
- Databases and web technologies
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Self-motivated learner with the ability to develop skills independently
- Positive attitude and a willingness to take initiative

Desirable Skills
- Basic knowledge of AI for business applications
- Familiarity with frameworks such as React, Node.js, or Laravel
- Git/GitHub experience
- Understanding of UI/UX principles
