Evolve is partnering with a leading pharmaceutical company to recruit an Account Specialist
Supporting the delivery of improved respiratory patient care across primary care. This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced healthcare sales professionals and ambitious graduates looking to build a rewarding career within the pharmaceutical industry.
About the Role
As an Account Specialist, you will develop trusted partnerships with healthcare professionals across the NHS, working collaboratively to understand customer needs, deliver value-driven solutions, and support better outcomes for respiratory patients.

This is a full-time permanent position covering Kent and Medway.

Ideal Requirements for the Account Specialist
- Experience in a customer-facing sales, account management, healthcare, or commercial role, with a proven ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver results.
- Graduates with a strong interest in pharmaceutical sales, healthcare, or the NHS environment are encouraged to apply, particularly those who can demonstrate commercial awareness, resilience, and excellent communication skills.
- A good understanding of the NHS and primary care landscape is desirable, with the ability to identify customer priorities and create meaningful partnerships.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage with a wide range of healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
- Commercially minded with strong organisational and analytical skills, able to use customer insights and data to identify opportunities.
- ABPI qualified (or willing to work towards qualification) with a commitment to continuous learning, digital capability, compliance, and professional standards.

Role Responsibilities for the Account Specialist
- Become a trusted strategic partner for healthcare customers, acting as their key point of contact and connecting them with the expertise, education, and resources needed to improve patient care.
- Build long-term partnerships with primary care networks and practices, developing tailored account plans that create mutual value.
- Listen to customer needs, gather insights, and support the development of innovative service improvements, educational initiatives, and partnership opportunities.
- Champion a modern, multi-channel approach to customer engagement, combining face-to-face meetings with digital interactions to deliver a personalised customer experience.
- Drive commercial success by promoting a market-leading respiratory portfolio, achieving performance objectives, and ensuring every interaction is ethical, compliant, and customer-focused.
