Graduate Recruitment Consultant | Truro | Up to 20% Commission
Put your degree, or your competitive edge, somewhere it'll actually pay off.
I'm working with an independent, award-winning group of recruitment businesses specialising in the education sector. Founded over two decades ago, the group has grown entirely organically into one of the leading names in education recruitment, with offices nationwide. Every single person in the business, from consultants right through to senior leadership, started at trainee level. Nobody is parachuted in from the top, which means the path upward is genuinely open to whoever puts the work in.
This is a full 360 role. From day one, you'll have complete ownership of your own desk, no shadowing someone else's clients or waiting your turn. What you put in from the start is what you'll get out.
Who they're looking for
- Any degree, any subject, this isn't about what you studied.
- A background in competitive sport also translates brilliantly here: the discipline, resilience and drive to win that comes with it are exactly what the best consultants are made of.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
