About the Role
PerkinElmer seeks a motivated, experienced Marketing Manager to support the global Food Solutions organization, specialising in our grain and dairy product lines.
The Grain and Dairy Marketing Manager will partner with product management, applications, and commercial colleagues to develop and execute marketing strategies and integrated campaigns that drive lead generation and funnel growth for our grain and dairy businesses.
Our sister brand, Perten (part of PerkinElmer’s Food Solutions team and boasting a 60-year legacy) provides leading testing instrumentation to the food industry, including near-infrared (NIR), process NIR, and rheology solutions.

- Work with key stakeholders to develop and execute strategic and tactical integrated marketing plans supporting growth in grain and dairy product lines.
- Create and refine value propositions, customer personas, and go-to-market plans for each strategic product and target market.
- Gather, analyse, and translate regional external (customer) and internal (commercial team) needs into solutions roadmaps.
- Lead new product introduction (NPI) marketing strategies and campaign execution.
- Develop and produce new marketing content (brochures, articles, white papers, webpages) to support campaigns.
- Deploy Social Media, emails, and third-party media campaigns aligned to strategic goals.
- Design and execute manual and automated email nurture campaigns to drive lead generation and funnel acceleration.
- Coordinate local language translations to meet regional needs.
- Manage SFDC campaign creation, lifecycle tracking, and ROI/metric reporting.
- Monitor and update spreadsheets, databases, and inventories with statistical, financial, and non-financial information.
- Perform administrative tasks to ensure departmental efficiency.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, marketing, or the sciences (with communications experience if holding a science degree).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing or communications.
- Ability to translate stakeholder needs into action plans.
- Demonstrable can-do attitude, multi-tasking capability.
- Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Basic knowledge of:
- Search Engine Marketing (SEM),
- Pay-Per-Click (PPC), or
- landing page design & optimisation.
- Competency in Google Analytics and Salesforce (SFDC).
- Proven project management skills and flexibility to adapt.
- Excellent teamwork and cross-boundary collaboration.
- Ability to work under pressure while balancing multiple priorities.

Preferred Characteristics
- Familiarity with NIR or FT-IR technology or food industry processes a plus.
- Fluency in German, French, Italian, or Portuguese advantageous.
