Marketing Manager - Grain and Dairy
PerkinElmer is seeking a motivated, experienced Marketing Manager to support the global Food Solutions organization, specializing in our grain and dairy product lines. The Grain and Dairy Marketing Manager role will partner closely with product management, applications, and commercial colleagues to develop and execute on marketing strategies and integrated campaigns that drive lead generation and funnel growth for our grain and dairy businesses.
Our Team
Perten, a part of PerkinElmer’s Food Solutions business, has a rich 60-year legacy of providing leading testing instrumentation to the food industry, including near-infrared, process NIR, and rheology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work in conjunction with key stakeholders to develop and execute on strategic and tactical integrated marketing plans to facilitate growth of grain and dairy product lines.
- Create and continuously refine/optimize value propositions, customer personas, and go-market-plans for each strategic product and target market.
- Develop understanding of regional external (customer) and internal (commercial team) needs, and translate these needs into solutions roadmaps.
- Lead new product introduction marketing strategy and campaign execution.
- Development and production (copywriting) of new content (brochures, articles, white papers, webpages, etc.) in support of campaigns.
- Deployment of emails, social media, and third-party media campaigns in support of strategic campaigns.
- Creation and execution of manual and automated email nurture campaigns to drive lead generation and acceleration.
- Coordination of local language translations to meet regional needs.
- SFDC campaign creation, tracking, and ROI/metric reporting.
- Budget tracking in Allocadia or similar system.
- Update spreadsheets, databases, and inventories with statistical, financial, and non-financial information.
- Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities.
- Other duties as needed and assigned.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, marketing, or the sciences (must have communications experience if degree in the sciences).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing or communications.
- Ability to translate stakeholder needs into action plans.
- A can-do attitude and ability to multi-task.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Basic knowledge of SEM, PPC, landing page practices, Google Analytics, and SFDC.
- Strong project management skills and an adaptive and flexible attitude. To be successful, the candidate will need to flex with the needs of the business while ensuring that project objectives are completed along planned timelines.
- Strong team player, able to work across boundaries.
- Work under pressure and balance multiple priorities.
Preferred Characteristics
- General knowledge of NIR or FT-IR technology and/or the food industry is a plus.
- German, French, Italian, or Portuguese language fluency is a plus.
