Join Our Housing Team

If you have experience in the housing sector and are passionate about delivering high-quality, meaningful public services, we would love to hear from you.

At Bromley, we are committed to developing our staff and creating opportunities for career progression. You will work within a supportive and ambitious team that is focused on improving outcomes for residents across the borough.

The Role

The Home Improvement Agency (HIA) is seeking proactive, highly organised Grants and Adaptations Officers to join our expanding team.

You will play a key role in ensuring Disabled Facilities Grants, discretionary loans, and home adaptation projects are delivered efficiently, effectively, and to a high standard. This includes supporting residents through the grant process, coordinating works, monitoring contractors, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and procedures.

The HIA provides essential support to residents by delivering aids and adaptations that enable people to remain independent, safe, and comfortable in their own homes. As we continue to transform and develop our services, this is an exciting opportunity to help shape new ways of working, influence best practice, and make a meaningful difference to the lives of Bromley residents.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
