We are seeking a Grants and Tax Incentives Specialist to join our Funding Management team.
WORK LOCATION: You can work remotely or in a hybrid set-up. You may be based at any of Air Products' European locations, including:
- Brussels (BE)

In this role, you’ll play a critical role in driving strategic global projects by securing funding opportunities for innovative technologies—supporting sustainability objectives and propelling Air Products into the future.
Responsibilities
As a Grants and Tax Incentives Specialist, your key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing tailored grants strategies to align with business goals, leveraging expertise in regional, national, and European funding programmes.
- Establishing an internal funding function to improve workflow efficiency and streamline processes.
- Preparing and submitting grant proposals and tax incentive applications across multiple jurisdictions.
- Optimising application and grant administration workflows.
- Monitoring industry trends and regulatory developments in grants and incentives, sharing insights with stakeholders.
- Building and maintaining strategic relationships with both internal teams (R&D, Finance, Legal, Tax) and external funding bodies.

Requirements
This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious professional who demonstrates:
- A strong track record in identifying and securing grants and tax incentives, with proven industry experience.
- Expertise in the European, national, and regional funding landscape and an understanding of complex financing mechanisms.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams, including R&D, Operations, Finance, Legal, Tax, Sales, and Marketing.
- Exceptional writing skills to clearly articulate technical, financial, and strategic concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management capabilities, with ease navigating ambiguity.
- Proactive determination—you thrive under pressure while maintaining a collaborative mindset.
- A collaborative team player with excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
