Graphic Design Internship

These placements are designed for students who have recently completed a relevant degree or those undertaking a required “year in industry” as part of their course — ready to turn their knowledge into real impact while growing alongside us.

Contract Details

  • Contract Duration: 10 - 11 months
  • Type: Internship
  • Hours: Full-time hours are 40 per week. Applicants must be prepared to work outside of normal office hours, including evenings, weekends, bank, and public holidays to cover match days and other club events as required.
  • Department: Marketing
  • Location: Wrexham (various sites) including, but not limited to, Stok Cae Ras and Eagles Meadow

What you will be doing

  • Assist in designing assets such as:
    • Social media (posts, stories, ads)
    • Website and email campaigns
    • Print materials (flyers, posters, brochures)
  • Support matchday / campaign executions
  • Adapt and resize existing creative across multiple formats
  • Help maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints
  • Contribute ideas to campaigns and content planning
  • Prepare files for print and digital use
  • Assist with basic video editing or motion graphics
  • Organise and manage design files and asset libraries

What are we looking for?

  • Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design or a related field
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Strong eye for layout, typography, and visual storytelling
  • Good attention to detail and organisation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of social media platforms and trends
  • Interest in football or sports and understanding of fan behaviour and culture
  • Creative thinker with a proactive attitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for design and storytelling
  • Experience with After Effects / Premiere Pro is desirable but not essential
