Lockheed Martin Space is one of the four major business areas within Lockheed Martin. The role:
Be part of a team delivering the next generation of secure military communications satellites for the UK Ministry of Defence.
This work provides resilient, high-performance connectivity for the UK, its allies and Defence personnel worldwide, playing a critical role in protecting national security as space becomes more contested and demand for secure data continues to grow.

What are we looking for?
We're looking for a Graphic Designer to join our team based from Helensburgh.
This role benefits from our 4xFlex working pattern offering a 4 day week Monday - Thursday.
We also operate a hybrid working pattern with typically 2-3 days onsite per week.

As a Graphic Designer, you'll be at the forefront of crafting immersive learning experiences.
From developing captivating 3D models to creating engaging course content, your work will shape the future of training.
Dive into the world of AR/VR as you design multimedia content that brings learning to life like never before.
Responsibilities:
- Bring instructional design scripts to life through multimedia course content.
- Innovate and captivate with course content using Adobe Captivate.
- Craft high quality graphics and multimedia using Adobe Creative Suite, elevating learning experiences.
- Design multimedia content tailored for AR/VR environments using 3D design tools such as Blender.
The successful candidate must achieve the appropriate level (SC) of security clearance. More details can be found here.

Required skills:
- Experience in 3D and graphic design, video editing, preferably with the Adobe Creative Suite
- Adept at understanding user requirements and transforming them into high quality digital assets.
- Understanding of eLearning authoring software (preferably Adobe Captivate)
- Master of visual storytelling, adept at communicating complex concepts through captivating visuals and animations.
- Organised, pragmatic, and able to prioritise workload
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Desired skills
- Unity coding experience
- 3D design using Blender
- Space experience – desirable not essential
- Knowledge of Defence training standards
