Junior Freelance Graphic Designer – Global Brand Visual Identity (Warrington, UK)

Aquent is partnering with a globally recognized leader in innovation and cultural impact—a brand celebrated for its diverse market appeal. This opportunity offers a chance to:

We seek a Junior Freelance Graphic Designer to collaborate closely with the design team, producing polished, on-brand assets that strengthen the brand’s cross-platform presence.


Responsibilities

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

Core Design Work

  • Develop campaign toolkits, digital assets, social media content, retail experiential designs, and out-of-home materials for priority markets.
  • Partner with devices and key retail accounts, translating brand strategy into visually compelling content.
  • Localise global creative work for regional and retailer-specific needs, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Design retail-ready assets (full-price and outlet stores), aligning formats with retail spaces and digital hardware.
  • Create visual merchandising tools, including windows, store fronts, in-store graphics, POS materials, and branded fixtures.

Strategic & Creative Collaboration

  • Work alongside senior designers to maintain brand alignment, commercial relevance, and consumer focus via typography, hierarchy, imagery, and tone.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional marketing teams, turning campaign priorities into engaging visuals.
  • Coordinate with external media partners and agencies for paid-media assets (social, digital video, out-of-home), adapting to global direction and regional optimisations.
  • Manage projects timelines, balancing fast-paced briefs while preserving creative quality.

Operational Excellence

  • Follow structured creative workflows for reviews, file management, and asset delivery.
  • Support team efficiency by embodying strong communication and quick adaptability amid evolving priorities.

Requirements

Technical Skills

  • Mac proficiency and expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
  • Ability to work seamlessly with Adobe Premiere and Figma.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders, internal teams, and agencies.

Creativeness & Soft Skills

  • Strong stakeholder communication, including presenting/defending design decisions internally and externally.
  • Organisational focus and multitasking capabilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with strong brand identities, particularly in fashion and performance.
  • Instinctual brand guardian mindset, prioritising continuity and longevity.

Contract Details

  • Freelance role, project-based until December 2026.
  • Competitive fixed rate: £4,400/month (£200 per day).
  • Onsite presence 2-3x per week in Warrington, UK.
