We are looking for a Graphic Designer
Beauty Works retails luxury hair solutions, including ready to wear clip-ins, semi-permanent professional extensions and exclusive collaborations. Our hair extensions, aftercare products and electrical stylers have earned recognition amongst the beauty press and up and down the red carpet. Beauty Works operates internationally to both to salon professional and directly to consumers and is owned by a Beauty Industry Group based in Salt Lake City and has the largest share of the hair extensions market in the world.
Job Summary
The Graphic Designer is a key team member, reporting to the Creative Design & Production Manager, and is responsible for designing and creating graphics for all aspects of the Beauty Industry Group brands including web, print and social media.

Role Outline & Responsibilities
- Create innovative, imaginative and smart designs across multiple brands, leading and advancing the level of work the creative team produces
- Ability to keep up and thrive even with short deadlines
- Follow brand guidelines and maintain brand consistency throughout your work
- Skilled at translating marketing communication strategies into clear and compelling graphic design solutions
- Create on-brand graphics for social media (Instagram Stories, Posts, Sponsored Ads - animation skills are a must)
- Conceptualise and create on-brand email creative
- Resize images and work to specific pixel dimensions
- Web page banners
- Listens to, understands and translates creative feedback with an open mind and works with team members to make revisions needed
- Take creative control of projects from start to finish including full brand identities for influencer collaborations
- Design graphics for events, launch parties and PR gifting
- Image Retouching
- Create print ready packaging designs
- Create and manipulate digital typography
- Create print designs and layouts for pdfs, brochures, price lists, etc.
- Offer new ideas clearly and effectively to the graphics and marketing team

Key Skills
- 2 years’ experience in a graphic design at a fast-paced company or agency environment
- Qualifications or studies relevant to design
- Ability to stick to and work well with strict brand guidelines
- Highly proficient in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
- Strong linguistic, spelling and proof-reading skills with a great attention to detail
- Excellent organisation skills
- Strong communication skills
- Experience creating animated graphics, particularly Instagram Stories
- Good networker with the capacity to build strong working relationships both internally and externally
- Commitment, drive and self-motivation
- Ability to work with others/a team player who’s happy assisting colleagues by completing tasks outside own job role when requested
- Must be able to provide a portfolio of Design work (creative CVs and portfolios are encouraged - showcase your skills)
- An enthusiasm for the Beauty Works brand, its communities and culture - you are aware of what’s going on across the beauty landscape and are familiar with current social trends and influencers on social media
- Knowledge of FIGMA is desirable
- Experience using Dotdigital (or similar ESP program) is advantageous
