Crawford Group is looking for a Graphic Designer within the UK for one of our high technology Financial Clients.

This role is an in-house creative, brand, content, and digital marketing group, driving projects across the full spectrum of our clients services, both internally and externally. Our clients synthesize consumer and competitive insights, deep knowledge of our businesses and offerings, and world-class creativity to ensure the most compelling experiences possible for our clients brand.

Our client is looking for an exceptional Graphic Designer that can execute superb design-oriented solutions, and exhibits exceptional problem-solving, communication and production skills to tackle day-to-day design assignments. In this role, you will need an eye for detail, and be responsible for the development, quality and accuracy of final art files for print and digital deliverables based on existing toolkits. The designer must be able to effectively manage multiple active projects in a high-paced environment, with the ability to pivot to meet tight deadlines.

In this role you will:

  • Bring a strong and sophisticated sense of design, with excellent typography skills, and a deep understanding of design principles.
  • Have impeccable attention to detail and passion for a job well done.
  • Work within a defined but dynamic (and always evolving) visual/brand system.
  • Execute the design and production of large-scale events.
  • Create, present and deliver exceptional design solutions.
  • Be a proactive problem solver and effective communicator.
  • Be cool under pressure. Detail-oriented, self-motivated, organized, and able to multitask.
  • Efficiently execute a high volume of projects from start to finish in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage your workload efficiently, with help from project managers and project management systems (Asana).
  • Design and edit templated digital and printed materials.
  • Communicate and collaborate globally, work closely with other designers that will oversee your work.
  • Accurately make editorial revisions from annotated PDFs; raise concerns when needed.
  • Maintain and follow consistent server organization and file naming conventions of existing structure and process.
  • Work on both PC and Mac platforms (design will be on the Mac).
  • Work alongside Marketing & Event stakeholders and address feedback in a timely and thoughtful manner.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Prior in-house creative services, studio, non-profit, museum, educational experience preferred.
  • Work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment, with a “do-it-all” attitude with the ability to take on both large and small tasks.
  • Expert knowledge of print production and digital pre-press processes. Ability to create and review file image quality, color space accuracy, and proper mechanical setup prior to releasing for final printing.
  • Ability to receive and implement art direction - whilst working within and expanding upon a dynamic and defined visual/brand system.
  • Expertise in the event design space, both in-person and digital.
  • Expert knowledge Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in Figma and Canva.
  • Experience with AI tools (e.g. Gemini/ChatGPT/Firefly)
  • Experience in photographic selection, cropping, and minor retouching is essential.
  • Ability to mock up concepts for presentation, both digitally and physically.
  • Experience with Asana a plus (but not compulsory)
  • An eye for detail, strong typography skills and creative problem-solving.
  • Ability to review own work for quality control against client’s request.
  • Ability to manage your own project schedules and job ownership to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in graphic design and production.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates extraordinary design ability across a wide range of media including the type of production work listed above (event architecture design, brochures, reports, digital assets, pre-press, color - motion a plus).
  • Strong track record both as an individual contributor and as a key member of a team.
  • Strong communication skills - approachable, and driven.

Rate: D.O.E, consultant of Crawford Group; benefits available if eligible (Our hourly ranges are determined based on skills, experience and location)
