Bolton Hospice is an independent charity that provides free specialist care to people in Bolton with life-limiting illnesses.
Role Description
This part-time Graphic Designer role is a hybrid position based in Bolton, with some flexibility for working from home. The Graphic Designer will create visual materials that communicate Bolton Hospice’s values, services, and fundraising initiatives across digital and print channels. Day-to-day tasks include designing graphics for campaigns, social media, websites, brochures, and event materials. The role involves collaborating with fundraising, communications, and clinical teams to translate complex information into clear, accessible visual content. The Graphic Designer will also prepare artwork for print and digital distribution, manage design files, and contribute to creative ideas that raise awareness and engagement.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, with a portfolio demonstrating creative and effective visual communication.
- Ability to use industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent) and prepare files for print and web.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle multiple projects to deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a respectful and empathetic approach.
- Relevant qualification in Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
