Medical communications/education/consulting • Dorking (office-based)

For more than 25 years, EDGE has helped pharmaceutical companies translate complex scientific data into accurate, insightful, and compelling medical communications. Design is central to how we do that in our medical communications, medical education, and strategic medical consulting teams. We are looking for a multidisciplinary designer to join our team.

The role

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that requires you to be comfortable producing print and digital material in a variety of formats (e.g. video, web), as well as challenging clients and writers to find the optimal solution to a brief. You will take work from first thought to finished, review-ready artwork across print and digital. You will make dense clinical science look clear and considered. You will work closely with our teams in the UK and Australia, and play a key part in developing engaging, visual content for our clients within their brand guidelines.

The work

Design & artwork

  • Design brand-aligned work across slide decks, scientific reports, congress and symposia materials, infographics, campaigns and digital assets, localising global materials or developing from concept, through to finished, medical-legal-regulatory (MLR)-ready artwork
  • Design and format PowerPoint / PDF containing medical and scientific content to a high standard, with consistent visual identity across every deliverable
  • Turn complex data into clear, accurate visualisations, working alongside our medical writer and commercial teams

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
