About the Role
We want to produce a horse theory booklet which our younger Rangers can use to revise from. We have all the pages, we just need help in formatting it and ordering it correctly so it is ready to print.
What difference will you make?
The booklets will make it much easier for our younger members to revise for and pass their exams and earn the coveted junior tenderfoot badge. This will stand them in good stead to progress through the other theory stages as it will be in an easily accessible format.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who has at least three years experience in formatting documents in preparation for printing. Including having all the text in the same font, page numbering etc. We want to be guided by you about what will work and what won't and what we need to change before the booklet is ready to be published.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What will you be doing?
We are a volunteer led children's educational charity. Our mission is to give young people ages 8 to 18 the hands-on skills to care for, handle, ride and connect with horses in a supportive, nurturing and fun environment. Through building relationships with horses and each other, Rangers develop as individuals, build self confidence and resilience, learn communication and team-building skills, have fun and make new friends.

The children are taught from a syllabus which gets more in depth as they progress through Rangers. This is achieved via being taught practical skills on the yard and through weekly classroom based learning sessions.
We want to produce a printed booklet which we can give to the younger children with all the information we have been teaching them. We have all the sheets in a Word document but need it to be formatted and readied for printing and don't have the skills for that.
