Graphics Technician – Permanent Afternoon Shift (3–11pm)

Graphics Technician needed for our Graphics team at GES to produce and coordinate general graphics for organisers and exhibitors.

  • Shift: Permanent afternoon shift (3–11pm)

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out production processes in the general graphics and print department, taking files from pre-rip/pre-cut status to finished product and prioritising workflow in accordance with shop-floor schedules.
  • Updating multiple schedules as needed and ensuring clear status identification.
  • Ensuring the correct project show code is applied to the timesheet.
  • Following dispatch instructions and ensuring items are clearly labelled and defined for their show/destination.
  • Implementing new and existing processes and reviewing progress/accuracy.
  • Reporting stock availability shortages and resource issues, liaising with print/production management, and ensuring metal ware, freestanding signage, and hardware are in good condition.
  • Driving continuous improvements in quality, productivity, and health & safety.
  • Quality-checking production items prior to dispatch.

Requirements

We’re looking for an experienced Graphics Technician with:

  • Hands-on experience in the exhibitions industry.
  • Self-motivation as a Vutek Operator, with strong organisation skills to plan workloads and prioritise tasks.
  • Thriving in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail.
  • Previous experience with Zund machines.
