Green Lipped Mussel Extract 500mg 90 Capsules is a Food Supplement containing Green Lipped Mussel with Vitamin C. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of bones and cartilage.
Green Lipped Mussel became of first interest when it was noticed that Maori living in coastal regions who regularly consumed these mussels were benefitting.
This shellfish is economically important to New Zealand. It differs from other mussel species in that it has a dark brown/green shell, a green lip around the edge of the shells and only has one abductor muscle. It is also one of the largest mussel species growing up to 240mm in length.
By adding Vitamin C to our Green Lipped Mussel Extract contributes to the normal function of the immune system and is an antioxidant which contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

Directions

Green lipped mussel has been highly effective for my arthritis. Relieves pain and swelling for me, although I should state that my arthritis is mainly in my hands. Easy to take and no side effects so I am very happy with this product.

Originally bought them for my ancient Lurcher, Bob, who struggled with the stairs and general mobility but after he passed away we were left with half a box. So being thrifty pensioners I decided to use them up myself and was pleasantly surprised at how much better my joints felt so have been using them ever since. Couldn't make me stop taking them now!!
