About the Role
The Pentrebach House team is now looking for a Grill Chef to join its exciting kitchen team. You’ll be part of an executive team, cooking vibrant dishes that customers love and helping to serve the finest dining experience with a smile.
You’ll have the chance to help develop your career under close supervision and take pride in your role, contributing to a consistent offering of delicious dishes that our public fanatics return for.
Key Responsibilities
- Work efficiently within the kitchen team to cook and prepare dishes
- Assist in the regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment and workstations
- Play a full part in the team – whether usability, good teamwork or delivering quality food
- Embrace a high energy environment with big opportunities for individual growth
This role has flexible hours to suit the needs of both the kitchen and the chefs.

Pay & Conditions
- Salary: Up to £14.16 per hour, reflective of your skills, experience and our industry-leading rates
- Hours: 30 hours per week
- Contract Type: Fixed term until 3rd September 2026
- Location: Pentrebach House, Pentrebach, Merthyr Tydfil CF48 4BD
