Ground Floor Team Member – Portsmouth Dockyard Premier Inn
Location: Queen St, Portsea, Portsmouth PO1 3EE
Hours: 20 hours per week (fixed contract), over 4 days (mix of morning and evening shifts)
Pay Rate: Up to £13.06 per hour
About the Role
Come and join us as a Ground Floor Team Member at the Premier Inn Portsmouth Dockyard! As the welcoming face of the hotel, you’ll use your friendly personality and customer service skills to ensure every guest feels at home from their moment of arrival. Whether it’s assisting with check-ins, crafting cocktails, serving meals, or helping the housekeeping team ensure rooms are immaculate, your role is central to delivering an exceptional experience.

Type of Contract: Fixed-term (no zero-hours contracts) Immediate start – no experience required
What You’ll Do
- Greet and support guests from arrival to check-out
- Help deliver welcoming check-ins and seamless stay experiences
- Serve refreshments, meals, and cocktails (training provided!)
- Work alongside the housekeeping team to maintain and prepare guest rooms
- Use a straightforward admin system to assist booking and operational needs
- Representative of Whitbread’s reputation for amazing hospitality
Requirements
- Friendly, enthusiastic and customer-focused attitude
- No prior experience necessary
- Happy to work flexible shifts, including evenings
