Groundworker
📍 Location: Redditch
WPS is looking for an experienced and dependable Groundworker/Hard Landscaper to join our growing team. Working across social housing properties in and around Redditch, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality maintenance, repair, and improvement works that make a real difference to local communities.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone with strong groundworks experience, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to delivering excellent workmanship and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and relay concrete flagging and paving.
- Carry out light brickwork repairs, repointing, and minor masonry works.
- Renew, repair, and install closeboard, panel, and timber fencing.
- Complete responsive maintenance and repair works across occupied and void social housing properties.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and supervisors.
What We're Looking For
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
- NVQ Level 2 in Groundworks, Hard Landscaping, or a related construction trade (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience working within domestic, residential, or social housing maintenance environments.
- Ability to work independently using your own initiative, as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service.
