Grounds and Maintenance Manager
The Grounds and Maintenance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Malvern View Holiday Park near Bromyard.
This role is responsible for overseeing the presentation, safety, and upkeep of the park’s grounds, facilities, and infrastructure.
Day-to-day tasks include:
- Planning and coordinating maintenance schedules
- Supervising maintenance team members
- Ensuring all equipment, utilities, and communal areas are maintained to a high standard
- Carrying out and overseeing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repair activities
- Responding promptly to issues to minimize disruption for guests and residents
- Managing contractors
- Maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations
- Controlling maintenance budgets and supplies
- Contributing to continuous improvement of park standards and guest experience

- Demonstrated supervisory skills with experience leading, coaching, and scheduling maintenance or grounds teams.
- Strong maintenance management capabilities, including planning, prioritizing, and tracking maintenance activities and projects.
- Hands-on experience with equipment maintenance and maintenance & repair across grounds, facilities, and utilities.
- Proven ability in preventive maintenance, including conducting inspections, identifying risks, and implementing maintenance plans.
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and safe working practices in a facilities or outdoor environment.
- Good organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills, with the ability to work to deadlines and service standards.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with colleagues, guests, contractors, and suppliers.
- Previous experience in leisure, hospitality, holiday parks, or property maintenance is highly beneficial.
- Relevant technical or vocational qualifications in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field are an advantage.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as required by park operations.
