Pinnacle Group is looking for a diligent Grounds Maintenance Operative to ensure our outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing. You will be joining our Grounds Maintenance teams who are based in Peterborough and travelling to sites across Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.
Our Soft Facilities Management division delivers essential services to homes, schools, universities and public sector organisations – including housing providers and blue light authorities. We focus on creating clean, safe and welcoming environments, with a commitment to quality, community impact and customer care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Mowing lawns
- Trimming hedges
- Planting
- Weeding
- General landscape upkeep of housing sites (new builds, extra care sites and sheltered accommodation)
You will have a keen eye for detail, be physically fit, and possess a strong work ethic. If you are passionate about creating and maintaining beautiful, safe outdoor environments, we would love to hear from you.
This is a full-time position where you will be working 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday and a full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role.

Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who, alongside the key criteria below, will sign up to our Values of Trust, Respect, Involve, Challenge and Deliver Excellence and will be determined to maintain the confidence of our clients and communities.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Driving company vehicles and transporting plant, machinery and equipment
- General maintenance of grounds e.g. grass cutting, clearing of debris, leaves, litter, hedge and shrub trimming
- Use of gardening equipment, powered hand tools and ride-on machinery
- Maintenance of vehicles and gardening machinery
Key Requirements
- Full driving licence
- Experience in using gardening power tools
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and safety procedures.
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
