Grounds Maintenance Operative / Driver

Location: Nottingham, NG5 6NZ Salary: £12.87 per hour Contract: Temporary, full-time Duration: 20 April 2026 to 28 August 2026

We are currently recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operative / Driver to join a busy grounds team in Nottingham South. This is a full-time temporary role covering long-term sickness.

The role is working Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with 42 hours per week.

Duties will include:

  • General grounds maintenance
  • Grass cutting and mowing
  • Strimming and use of powered gardening equipment
  • Marking out football pitches
  • Running and maintaining trackers
  • Driving as part of the role
  • Chemical control duties where qualified

Requirements:

  • Previous grounds maintenance experience
  • Experience using mowers, strimmers and other power tools
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Reliable and hardworking
  • PA1 to PA6a licence would be an advantage for chemical control duties
