Role Description
This full-time remote role for a Grounds Maintenance Operative focuses on maintaining safe, clean, and presentable outdoor environments for client sites. Day-to-day responsibilities may include:

The operative will inspect grounds regularly, identify maintenance needs, and carry out routine repairs and minor landscaping improvements in line with client standards and safety requirements. The role also involves:
- Using and maintaining grounds maintenance tools and equipment
- Following health and safety procedures
- Communicating with site contacts and supervisors to report issues, progress, and completed work
While the position is remote, travel to assigned client locations will be required, and work scheduling may vary based on site needs, weather conditions, and service agreements.
Qualifications
- Grounds maintenance and landscaping skills, including lawn care, plant care, trimming, and seasonal outdoor tasks.
- Ability to operate, maintain, and safely handle grounds maintenance tools and equipment.
- Understanding of health, safety, and environmental practices relevant to outdoor and facilities work.
- Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills to manage tasks across multiple locations.
- Clear communication skills for coordinating with clients, supervisors, and team members.
- Capability to work independently in a remote setting and adapt to changing site requirements and weather conditions.
- Physical ability to perform manual outdoor work, including lifting, bending, and extended periods of walking or standing.
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance, facilities services, or a related field is preferred; relevant vocational training or certification is an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license required.
