Could you be Incommunities new Grounds Maintenance Round Leader?
You will help us build, measure and optimise our Grounds Maintenance activity. Responsible for supervising, delivering and enhancing our overall Grounds Maintenance process, delivery and workflow.

We are a social housing landlord and one of the largest housing providers in the region with over 22,000 social and affordable homes, mainly in the Bradford district. We employ a talented workforce of nearly 1,000 people.

Duties include:
- Supervising the day-to-day activities of the Grounds Maintenance Operatives, whilst working closely with the Team Leaders.
- Ensuring you and your team have the correct equipment to carry out the role safely and in line with Health and Safety procedures.
- Regularly assess team capacity to ensure the service from the department meets and exceeds customer expectations.
- Communicate with external agency partners such as Bradford Council colleagues.
- Develop an understanding of our customers needs.
- Be an ambassador for the Organisation ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Respond to issues in an appropriate and timely manner, always protecting the reputation of the organisation.
- Be first point of contact for issues arising on site whilst upholding our values and behaviours.
- Keep Team Leaders and management informed appropriately by interpreting information and making recommendations.
- Monitor performance and standards of your team ensuring the expected standard is met and exceeded. Feeding back any information which is impacting the team to Team Leaders/Management.

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of Grounds Maintenance experience, preferably in a similar organisation (social housing, non-profit, charity).
- Strong communication skills.
- People management experience.
- Demonstrated experience of using Grounds Maintenance equipment in a safe manner in line with Health and Safety Regulations.
- An understanding of Grounds Maintenance processes and requirements during the changing seasons.
- Good working knowledge of GDPR regulations, Health and Safety Act 1974 and COSHH.
- Continuous performance focus with a desire to improve.
- A full UK manual driving licence and ability to tow a trailer/equipment is essential.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this post. You must have the right to work in the UK.
