Grounds Maintenance Team Leader: BS35
Garden maintenance team leaders are required by one of the area's leading Horticulture and Grounds maintenance specialists for an immediate start.
Duties
- Being a charge hand leading a team of 2/3 operatives
- Carrying out duties such as:
- Hedge cutting
- Strimming
- Using pedestrian mowers and ride-ons
- Grass cutting/maintenance
- Weed control
- All general grounds maintenance duties

Requirements
- Experience and a Driver's License are essential
- We require candidates to have good experience and knowledge of the industry
- PA1/PA6 is also strongly desired but not essential
Work Locations
Our client works on sites such as:
- Schools
- Business parks
- Industrial estates
- Housing developments
Benefits
The role will be made permanent after a 3-month probation if all goes well. Some of the benefits if you go permanent are:
- GBP13.19 per hour
- Overtime after 3.30 pm
- Company bonus scheme
- Pension scheme
- Our client also has at least one annual staff day out, for example, a summer party for staff and their families

Overtime
There is plenty of opportunity for overtime which is paid at 1.5 times hourly rate
Pay Rate
GBP14.78 per hour
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
