This is an on-site Groundworker role based in the Northwest Area, United Kingdom. The Groundworker will carry out day-to-day tasks such as site preparation, excavation, trenching, installing drainage and utility ducting, and assisting with foundations and substructure works. Responsibilities include supporting roads and sewers construction, kerbing, paving, and external works, as well as contributing to hard landscaping and basic concrete works as required. The role involves operating tools and machinery safely, following site plans and instructions, maintaining a clean and orderly work area, and adhering to all health and safety regulations. The Groundworker will collaborate closely with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure work is completed to specification and within agreed timeframes.

Qualifications
- Valid CSCS or CSCS Card demonstrating competence and authorization to work on construction sites.
- Experience in Groundworks, including excavation, foundations, drainage installation, and trenching.
- Practical skills in Landscaping and external works, such as kerbing, paving, and basic hard landscaping.
- Understanding of working safely around Trees and vegetation, including site clearance and protection measures.
- Previous experience in civil engineering or construction environments, ideally in roads, sewers, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices, including safe use of plant and equipment.
- Ability to read and follow site drawings and instructions, with good attention to detail and quality standards.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a site team in varying weather and ground conditions.
- Valid UK driving license.
