Job Description

We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and hardworking Groundworker to join our forestry works team. You will play a key role in ensuring our projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard, while strictly adhering to on-site health and safety protocols.

Our Projects & Types of Work

Our team manages vital infrastructure and environmental maintenance contracts across expansive woodland environments. Your day-to-day operations will regularly include:

  • Forestry Road Networks: Upgrading, repairing, and maintaining timber extraction routes, haul roads, and forest tracks to withstand heavy machinery.
  • Drainage & Culvert Works: Improving and installing complex drainage systems, ditches, and culverts to manage water flow across rural terrains.
  • Civil Engineering & Infrastructure: Groundwork preparations for, and the installation of, bridges, walkways, and other woodland crossings.
  • Revetments & Bank Stabilisation: Installing timber or stone revetments and erosion control measures to secure banks and waterways.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
