Role Description
The Groundworker role at LM SURFACING LTD is a full-time, on-site position based in Liverpool. Day-to-day tasks include carrying out general groundworks such as excavation, trenching, laying foundations, and preparing sub-bases for surfacing. The role also involves landscaping duties, setting out work areas, assisting with tree and shrub planting, and ensuring sites are clean, safe, and organized. Groundworkers will use hand tools and small plant, follow site plans and instructions from supervisors, and adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Collaboration with other site operatives, engineers, and contractors is expected to ensure projects are completed on time and to required standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess relevant construction safety credentials such as a valid CSCS and CSCS Card.
- Candidates should possess skills and experience in Groundworks, including excavation, drainage, foundations, and site preparation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Landscaping, including soft and hard landscaping tasks and maintaining outdoor areas.

Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in civil engineering or construction, ability to read basic site drawings, strong awareness of health and safety, and capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
