Due to continued expansion within our Contracting Department, we are seeking to recruit an additional Groundworks and Civil Engineering Working Foreman to undertake all aspects of site work and the coordination of groundwork teams as well as enabling cost-effective targets to be met. Position located in Penrith and South Lakes.
The Main Duties Will Include
- Setting up and co-ordinating the works
- Checking that materials, plant, equipment, and labour are on site to meet with contract and programme requirements.
- To monitor and produce good quality of work.
- Ensuring that safety plans and method statements are adhered to onsite by all operatives and sub-contractors.
- Ensure there is a safe system of work in the place for all sites.
- Be able to write and keep a daily diary/record sheet.

Skills And Qualifications
- Site Supervisor experience
- Be able to supervise a team.
- Confident in taking information from drawings.
- A good knowledge of Groundworks and Civil Engineering
- Must have a valid UK driving licence.
- SSSTS preferred
- CSCS card
