Our Client
Our client is a globally recognised integrated marketing agency with an outstanding reputation for delivering award-winning campaigns for some of the world's leading FMCG and CPG brands. As part of its continued growth, the agency is looking to appoint an experienced Group Account Director to join its Dubai office and lead strategic client partnerships across a portfolio of prestigious global brands.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting senior leadership opportunity for an accomplished client services professional with a proven agency background and extensive experience managing large, multinational FMCG and consumer brands. You will play a pivotal role in shaping client strategies, driving business growth, leading high-performing teams, and delivering integrated marketing solutions that create measurable business impact.
The Role
Reporting to the Business Director, you will be responsible for leading a portfolio of high-profile FMCG and CPG clients, overseeing strategic planning, commercial growth, and the successful delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple markets.
Working closely with senior client stakeholders, you will collaborate with strategy, creative, media, production, and digital teams to ensure exceptional service delivery and long-term client success.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture strong relationships with senior client stakeholders across leading global FMCG and CPG brands.
- Lead the strategic direction of key client accounts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand ambitions.
- Develop long-term account growth strategies while identifying opportunities to expand client partnerships.
- Oversee the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Provide strategic counsel and act as a trusted advisor to clients.
- Lead multidisciplinary agency teams to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
- Ensure the highest standards of client servicing, project management, and campaign delivery.
- Manage account profitability, commercial performance, forecasting, and overall account health.
- Mentor, coach, and develop Account Directors, Account Managers, and client service teams.
- Present strategic recommendations, campaign performance, and business reviews to senior client leadership.
- Stay informed on industry trends, consumer insights, and evolving marketing best practices to bring fresh thinking to clients.

Requirements
- 10+ years of client servicing experience within a leading integrated, creative, digital, or marketing agency.
- Proven experience managing large regional or global FMCG and CPG clients.
- Strong background in strategic account management and integrated marketing communications.
- Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-market campaigns and managing senior client relationships.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing large client portfolios and P&L responsibilities.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
- Experience working within fast-paced, multinational agency environments.

Preferred Experience
- Experience working with internationally recognised FMCG or consumer brands.
- Regional GCC or international market experience.
- Exposure to integrated campaigns spanning brand, digital, social, content, and media.
- Experience managing global or regional client accounts across multiple markets will be highly advantageous.
