Group Accountant
A Group Accountant opportunity has arisen within a well-established business undergoing continued growth and transformation. Sitting within Group Finance, this role plays a key part in delivering high‑quality financial reporting, supporting the month‑end and year‑end close, and ensuring the integrity of consolidated results across the Group.
What you’ll be doing Prepare monthly Group consolidation, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance with IFRS Support the production of annual statutory accounts Lead on key technical accounting areas including IFRS 16, IFRS 9 and impairment reviews Maintain and improve Group reporting controls, balance sheet reconciliations and audit readiness Business‑partner divisional finance teams to ensure timely and accurate submissions Support the external audit process, acting as a key point of contact Contribute to continuous improvement across systems, processes and reporting Assist with ad‑hoc projects including acquisitions, systems upgrades and Group-wide initiatives

What we’re looking for

ACA/ACCA qualified, ideally trained in a Big 4 or Top 10 firm Strong technical accounting knowledge under IFRS Experience in consolidations and multi‑entity reporting Confident working in a listed or large, complex environment Strong communicator with the ability to influence across Group and Divisional teams High attention to detail, proactive mindset and comfortable working to tight deadlines
