Looking for your next move into a broad Group Accountant role with real exposure and progression? I'm working with an established and growing business in Central London that is looking to appoint a Group Accountant to join its high-performing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys technical accounting, group reporting and working closely with senior stakeholders. You'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting while supporting a range of business-critical projects.

The Role

As Group Accountant, you'll be responsible for:

  • Preparing monthly consolidated management accounts and group reporting.
  • Producing statutory financial statements and supporting the year-end audit process.
  • Managing intercompany accounting and reconciliations across multiple entities.
  • Supporting the month-end and year-end close.
  • Ensuring compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
  • Working closely with senior finance leaders on ad hoc projects and business initiatives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
