Group Reporting Accountant
Reports to: VP Financial Controller
Location: London
Job Purpose and Context
This position will be part of the Jimmy Choo Group Finance team responsible for the preparation of Consolidated financial results on a monthly basis, to all relevant stakeholders, adhering to tight deadlines and the high standards required by the SEC and our US Parent company.
This position will work under the direction of the VP Financial Controller and will be involved in the preparation of financial reporting and analysis to shareholders. Financial reporting must be of an SEC standard produced to specified deadlines for internal and external reporting.
The business uses SAP for retail back office and points of sale support, as well as Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) for consolidation and statutory reporting. Hyperion Planning is the current management information system.

Key responsibilities
- Work closely with regional finance teams to consolidate, analyse, review and report actual results on a monthly basis.
- Prepare reporting information and packs, on a quarterly basis, for our US Parent company, ensuring compliance with group policies and the production of accurate, consistent and timely information.
- Support the preparation of statutory accounts for all UK companies.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, to complete all audits in an efficient and timely manner.
- Maintain effective controls within the group reporting process and ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley.
- Undertake monthly intercompany matching for the Jimmy Choo regions.
- Provide support to the regional teams to ensure all leases are captured and accounted for in accordance with accounting standards ASC842 and IFRS16.
- Assist with year-end responsibilities.
- Project support as required.
- Other ad-hoc duties.

Requirements
- Big 4 or mid-tier practice experience preferred.
- ACA or ACCA qualified with a sound understanding of IFRS; US GAAP exposure an advantage.
- Consolidation and reporting experience from in a retail environment is an advantage.
- Advanced Excel and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative team player with a ‘can do’ attitude, personable and confident approach
- Professional approach to delivering high-quality work.
